Nevermind the stigma that goes along with it but that record is with you forever, it affects what jobs you can get, and all sorts of things. If you are moving in a direction that involves big goals like getting a great paying job, chances are that person isn't going to be able to keep up because their dating someone who has been to prison decisions are going to hold them back.

Not only that but if they went to prison, they did something serious enough to get them there and who's dating someone who has been to prison say that their behavior will change vs just falling right back into "what you know". No thanks and sorry to anyone who's been in prison before who did make a change but the fact is, the record follows you everywhere and does greatly affect your quality of life.

Never have, never will. I know, there probably are some guys out there who have made some mistakes, and are now have straightened out their lives. But for me, it's not a risk I'm willing to take, esp. Also, I don't surround myself with people that tend to have issues with violence, drug abuse, or dating someone who has been to prison criminal activities. It's pretty unlikely that I would meet someone with a felony record, unless I met someone online, and didn't know.
